Aveo Springfield is now officially Open after ceremony on Wednesday 31st of May
Aveo CEO Geoff Grady and the Honourable Annastacia Palaszczuk; Premier of Queensland, officially opened the doors to our first building in Springfield – the Lee Building – on Wednesday May 31st. Marchese Partners designed the masterplan for the $1billion Aveo Springfield intergenerational retirement community that is part of a 15+ year project and will offer a variety of living options to meet the long-term needs of residents including independent living units and a world-class aged care centre, a wellness centre, shops and cafes, and a boutique child care centre.
The ceremony celebrated the Lee Building as the first building block of a new breed of age-friendly lifestyle precincts that will challenge the way we think about retirement. Geoff Grady stated “We’re thrilled to officially open the doors of Aveo Springfield today in a community that sets new standards of excellence in seniors living, being Australia’s largest integrated retirement community.
