Stewart Dean Heads New Brisbane OfficeAfter more than a decade in Sydney and more recently San Diego in the U.S., Marchese + Partners has now established a full time presence in Brisbane. Faced with an unprecedented demand for their services in the Sunshine State, Principal and Managing Director in Australia Steve Zappia says the move is a natural progression. 'We see a big future for M+P in Queensland', Steve says 'there is no doubt it is the major growth corridor for property development in Australia'. Senior Associate Partner Stewart Dean (pictured below) has moved to Brisbane to run the new office. Stewart joined Marchese + Partners after gaining a wealth of experience working in large commercial practices in the UK and Australia. Since joining M+P, Stewart has been the Senior Associate in charge of the completed $52 million Village Docklands project in Melbourne and the $32 million Heritage Park, Bowral project. As well as high level client liaison skills, Stewart has a proven track record working on large scale projects. He also possesses exceptional design and construction abilities ensuring that he will be able to lead the Brisbane office in providing the unique services that have become synonymous with Marchese + Partners.

evo | Surfers Paradise
Marchese + Partners design for 'evo' has been formally submitted as an Expression of Interest to the Gold Coast City Council. The $850 million proposal was prepared for Portberg Properties and includes two residential towers (101-storeys and 70-storeys) set amongst a 7000m2 public park. When constructed the e1 tower will eclipse Q1, currently the tallest building on the Gold Coast.
Port Douglas ResortMarchese + Partners design for a 200 apartment resort hotel in Port Douglas Queensland was approved by Douglas Shire Council in January. The resort is planned to take advantage of its spectacular setting and provide a new benchmark for North Queensland apartments. Detailed design work is due to start later this year with construction set to commence some time after that. |
