Marchese Partners Canberra designed terraces in braddon, the grounds, is now on the
market. The development is to be built on the southernmost corner of the heritage-listed
Northbourne Oval site, opposite the Canberra Centre. There will be a mix of 92 apartments
and 48 terrace homes priced from $335,000 to over $1.35 million, comprising one, two,
three and four-bedroom floor plans in 3 or 4 storeys.
The project is being put to market by independent property group and was subject of a
design-competition process to appoint the architects for the project. Two architecture firms
were selected effectively splitting the development in half to make it more architecturally
unique. The Marchese Partners terrace designs were inspired by the vision of creating an
urban village around a central green square. Some of the townhouses have direct frontage
to the oval and afford large courtyards ideal for outdoor entertaining.
