The Melliss Avenue frontage has a welcoming recessed arrival area, to allow for residents to be dropped off and picked up and this forms the front door to the development. The ground floor area has communal and community use, it has an open and welcoming feel and certain areas will be accessible to the public, typically the café and children’s play area to the riverside.
In total there are 88 units in a mixture of larger 1, 2 and 2b+ bedroom specialist extra care units. The units are designed to be wheelchair accessible and/or adaptable, to allow for ageing in place for the resident, and to provide space for very high levels of care to be delivered within the care unit.
