The site is located within the west end precinct of Newcastle and the surrounding development is generally commercial and retail in nature.
Resulting from a collaboration between Marchese Partners Canberra and CKDS (Newcastle) the twin tower proposal yields some 200 dwelling. The design has taken into consideration of the existing views, plot ratio and current and proposed city skyline/profile. the podium levels are designed to engage with the public domain though an active street front and appropriate street wall heights. The proposal went through a number of urban design panel reviews to ensure the design achieved the criteria necessary for design excellence before the DA is lodged.
